"End!" Amy's voice called out. "End, where are you?" She sounded...hurt? I stood at once, looking around. I quickly spotted her. Her back against one of the obsidian towers, the tip of a blue pickaxe digging into her neck. Not enough to draw blood, but enough to threaten to.

"Herobrine!" I roared, landing beside the non-human and kicking out at him. With a simple spin, the freak avoided my attack and pulled Amy closer to himself, pinning her against himself. Taunting me with each step he took further away from me.
"Come any closer and she dies, End." He spat. "And here I thought you were worth something to me. But here you are, attached to this pathetic girl...I'll get rid of her for you. Everything will be better for the both of us. Don't you see? She hates you anyways. You're fighting against her. You can't take both sides in this war, End."

More explosions echoed out as I stared at Herobrine. He stared back. Amy squirmed as a drop of blood oozed from the spot where the pickaxe was being pressed into her neck. I backed up a pace, shaking. What could I do? What should I do? Fear and panic coursed through my mind. I couldn't do anything.

But then, something unexpected happened. Another Enderman approached from behind, striking out at Herobrine. Whether he mistook the non-human as a human, or whether he was just trying to help, I'll never know. Herobrine turned and plunged his pickaxe into my kin's chest. That was all the chance I needed. In seconds, Amy was in my arms and as far away from Herobrine as I could get her. It only took another second to throw a punch at the Non-human's face.

I was thrown backwards in an instant. I was outmatched, I knew it already. Yet still I had to stand again. I had to fight still. For Amy's sake. For the sake of my brethren. I had to. All this fighting, all this war...it might not stop with Herobrine out of the way, but the non-human was only striving to create chaos.

I turned and looked around. Where did Herobrine go now? Vanished again...I looked up in time to see him lunging down towards me, swinging his pickaxe at me. A roll out of the way and I was safe for an instant. Just one. I felt his cold hand grab my leg. As impossible as it seemed, I was thrown up and then down, all breath leaving my body as I hit the ground, hard. Winded and dazed, I collected my wits in time to see Herobrine raise his weapon.

"If you won't join me, you will die!" He snarled. I pushed myself backwards, my hand finding the hilt of a weapon. I swung it around, but was a bit surprised to find a shovel in my hand, not a sword. I didn't have time to question it. I blocked once, twice, before managing to make it onto my feet again. I was actually starting to fight back, turning to the offensive now that I had regained my balance.

Then, the worst. Amy, that foolish girl! She ran out to me. "End!" She called from across the battlefield, obviously scared and confused. "I don't hate you! I don't, End!"
"Wha--" I glanced her way, distracted for a second. A split second. One tiny fraction of time, and Herobrine managed to rip his diamond tool through my side. I screamed in pain, only able to watch as the shovel was ripped out of my hands. It clattered somewhere to my side. I didn't have the space in my mind to care, I was too focused on getting away. Get away, get away...

Too late. Again, backwards I was thrown, this time landing on my front. The non-human's foot was driven into my back. He grabbed my head and forced me to look up as a roar split the dark sky. "Mother...no!" I screeched. While I had been distracted with Herobrine, the humans had regrouped and worked together to take her down. Herobrine grabbed my head and forced me to watch as light exploded from the Enderdragon, signaling her passing soul.

Her body fell into the void, away from the island. A portal appeared; the humans cheered and ran for it, desperate to get away from here.
"You see, End? You see?! They killed her! Your mother died because of them!" The non-human kicked me roughly in the side. I could only barely lift my head as Amy's voice sounded through the cheering. She was running towards us, her weapons drawn. I could only weakly call out to her to stop.
I could only watch as Herobrine's weapon thudded into her chest.
I could only scream her name as she collapsed.

Dead.
